I wouldn't say it's a fresh idea. An old banality that you can learn theory from the books but you have to practice... in this case: write / draw. No sugar added.
Would a company looking to create an advertisement go to TBWA because they've read 8 books and have a pencil? No way! If I'm paying for an ad I want to know that I'll get results, not something made by a company with a small library. No thanks, I'll get the books from the library and steal a pencil next time I'm mini-putting.
for me doesn´t work at all. so "simple" (and not in a good way) idea...
theory vs practice???? COME ON!!!! and with old books, on top of that (hey whipple squeeze this??).
tbwa paris should bring some people from guatemala to france, so they can REAAAAALLY practice.
