somehow I really like this campaign... i keep looking at it...
I too enjoy these. Very "El Lissitzky" in a Vodka sort of way.

i like both
illustration
&
concept
Scrivi in inglese.

Yes, very nice work in concept and illustration.
Well done!

I enjoy these.
This may be my favorite of the set. It seems to tie back to the product a bit nicer.
interesting to look at but i don't have a clue what these are trying to say.
Me neither. I find it odd that people are enjoying this so much, which leads me to believe that most comments on here are from a strictly design point of view, and not necessarily an overall advertising point of view.
This one in particular gave me the message "You know you shouldn't, but you want to anyway," a sentiment that lends itself well to shooting vodka.
I think they pulled away from this thought with the others. Some read more like "You want it just like how you want sex," or even "Alcohol = kinky party," to the general consumer... which does a lot less.
Yeah, did somebody say the word concept? Because I'm pretty sure I didn't see one.
These do nothing for me at all. Cold and boring.
There is something thirsty inside you. Ok, drink and forget it. Or... dirink and enjoy it.
When you talk about alcool you have to put attention at the tone of voice. Do you remember the beautifull Smirnof campaign whith the image distortion trought the bottlle? Tell me... what was the concept?
(Bianconiglio is looking for some freelance work)
Um, don't remember it, probably because there was no concept.
Found some work yet?
the matches are men. the matchbox is a woman. they're hitting on her. and getting burned (shot down). aside from that, the overall idea is that you're thirsty and horny. and i suppose if you were to be drunk (or if the girl were anyway), you'd have a better chance of getting laid.
having worked on liquor accounts, every douchbag client wants to see tits and ass. so this is a great way of showing that without being sleazy.
i think they r just trying to link the whole kinky thingy with the product name. The word 'thirsty' just seems to fuddles pple..:|
I don't get it. These are nonsensical in a bad way. My only advice is to lay of the bong whle working.
i like these too...
Nice illustration > Concept is a mystery >>
its great,
Self-depreciating! Good! (Or am I wrong?)
No concept. The creatives obviously found some art that they really liked, and decided to try and put a client to it. The illustrations are nice, I'd like to have them framed on my wall, but there just isn't an idea here.
How rude. :)
For the people who think there is no concept.
Please, tell me: what was the concept of the Smirnof campaign whith the image distortion trought the bottlle?
Have you ever worked whit alcool products? I think no.
Alcool is like a drug. You must talk "in the fog".
(Bianconiglio is looking for some freelance work)
"Alcohol is like a drug?!"
"You must talk in the fog?!"
Seriously, is that an Italian brief on alcoholic products, Bianco?
Please, tell us what you think THIS concept is, B.
Beacuse all it is visually saying to me is 'Halucinate on Vodoo Vodka'.
>>>> That's not an ad. THIS is an ad.
Ditto that.
Come on Mr B, put down your crack-pipe for a minute and enlighten us all.
I am not good in English (no one speak english in Italy). But I try to write my way of thinking.
I hope you will understand the meaning between my mistakes.
"To write in the fog": I mean that you can't say
Drink and forget.
Or
drink and make love and have fun.
You must tell the same things whithout really saying.

I love anyone that 'writes what they are thinking' and I appreciate that it's not your 1st language, but I'm still a bit confused.
I have worked on alcohol before so I think I see what you mean about what you can (or can't) 'promise' with the product.
What I don't understand is what these ads are trying to say, I can't find the 'concept'.
i agree
Are you kidding Bianconiglio? Those Smirnoff ads had a concept. It was a branding piece that said if you drink Smirnoff you're the wild one, the mysterious one, the desired one. These say nothing, no product benefit or some feeling that people can take away from these. Its pretty much illustrations with a tacked on logo.
I like it. Consumers don't lose they time trying to make any marketing analysis before buy. Either they like it or not.
