Guest's picture

so you found an old megaphone and took a picture.
All ads for tabasco are fake. yeah yeah...it´s really strong or whatever...who cares. We all know it.

Guest's picture

terrible packshot

Whitefang's picture 507 pencils

looks like pakistan is a bit behind the ad world, not a huge surprise though is it?

Waqqas's picture 42 pencils

I'm from Pakistan. And I don't like this ad either.
That said, generalizations suck!

Guest's picture

¿award mis huevos? what are you doing here NACO.

Guest's picture

first thought when you intend not to go to common places with this product, lame logo placing and colour.

Guest's picture

No way?! Tabasco is hot?!! I had no idea.

And Tabasco are running dps campaigns out of an agency in Karachi! Who would have thought!

karan raghav's picture 201 pencils
me_sitting_here's picture 334 pencils

i though "award" was the worst thing i could ever read for this ad. you prove me wrong.

Guest's picture

The ad is pretty bad. But the guys who did this deserve some respect. At least they were trying to do something (creative for Pakistan standards).
And show the rest of Pakistan, there are better things to do in life than just become a terrorist. Well done Glucose.

crazylegz's picture 92 pencils

at least they manage to avoid showing the actual product - haha

Misstree's picture 377 pencils

For heaven's sake, people...please refrain from such caustic comments. Comment on the work done, give suggestions for improvement etc. This is suposd to be a forum for advtg...not racism! Don't point ur grubby fingers at a nation n pass ur judgement! Every nation has its failings...so there's absolutely no need 2 get high n mighty with 3rd world countries.

Instead, encourage these guys for the change they r trying 2 bring about in the advtg. scene in Pakistan. I applaud the effort...keep up the good work, glucose n turn a deaf ear the the racist weirdos out here.

Indeed 3rd world countries such as Argentina beat the crap out of all of us in cannes with 1% of our budget and have export creatives like juan cabral

Guest's picture

One minute brainstorming. Nothing new. Even in a third world country a creative should know what is good or not.

Misstree's picture 377 pencils

It IS a good creative or else I wouldn't have commented on it. If it was badly done or a horrid thought, I would be the first to bash it up....it's nothing to do with countries, it's to do with advtg.

My comment on 3rd world countries was to stop ppl from posting vicious remarks on particular races...And not to say 'be nice to them if they post a bad ad'.

Comment by all counts...but on the creative.

  • as a step towards civilizing these comment forum, i believe that anonymous comments should be removed. this incessant yammering is pointless!
Brainsugar's picture 1239 pencils

Please stop this strategy on Tabasco!!!!! All over the world everybody says it's hot! Ok we know now!
Tabasco doesn't need advertising. Every ads done, seems fake.
And before saying it's a "great idea" just try to find some tabasco ads on the net.

example:
