I think I can explain the ad though. Tabasco ads a hot spice to food. So much so that with a small stretch of the imagination, you could call it 'explosive'. The creatives on this one must have seen the gazillion other ads with exploding food and thought "Hey, we could use this for Tabasco! We're brilliant!!"
If this is a much better use of the exploding food than the crackers one did.

I personally think flying calamari are going to sell the shit out of this product. And oh yeah, Tabasco isn't that hot; it's more sour than hot. Any hot connoisseur would know that. Paris Hilton is hotter than this.
