Of course it's an old concept. And taking known concepts and utilising them in a way to promote something has a name: advertising. Please feel free to reinvent the wheel with all of your concepts but forgive the rest of the world for identifying an association.

Having said that, I think the ad could do more. The imagery has a strong connection and is emotionally evocative but I feel the copy is a bit of a let down. For me it doesn't connect with the imagery as well as it could but that might be a translation issue.
