Reminds me of those insurance TVCs. Same idea. However connecting the product name in the headline is too cheesy. A simple line like '0-60 in 5 sec' etc would have been funnier.

Would it have been more effective if it was the last letter that misspelled it?

Funny but, it seems they're selling a getaway car. Criminals please rob a bank, do whatever, but do it with a suzuki swift.
