Nice!
I'm I missing something?
Traveling is more complicated with the vitara?

I would like it if it were an imigration ad...
yes, me too
What's with ads and mazes ? I think its too overdone.
It's a lie.
I agree, This is a tired concept.
Seen the idea plenty of times. And I don't like that it's basically advertising a "fun adventure" through a continent torn with strife, war, poverty, AIDS, and all sorts of other horrific things...poor taste really.
this is nice .. i like this a lot better than the Mitsubishi Navigation ones (in the latest Archive)

Where’s the car? This won’t sell to first time buyers or to people who know less about cars. I want to see the car, not your logo. THE CAR, WHERE IS THE CAR?
Very poorly done, a pleasure drive in the vast natural park of Africa? Or the natural parks put up by governments that push people off their land and cater to rich foreign white diplomats who want to see the "wild side"? Way to stereotype and abuse the image of an entire continent with a single add. Provincial and unconvincing, I'm not amused.
woooo... another brand new maze ad.
I bet that is original. hope we see more.
I yet to see an award show without a maze ad entry.
Hi writergeekdez,
Don't be such a clueless homo sapience.Africa is not just about those
negatives you mentioned,it's a beautiful continent filled with beautiful
and (you won't believe it)smart people and,Oh they are creative too.
So, we don't need your proud-ass sympathy.Guess you have those negatives
in your country too but thanks to CNN and others for the demarketing of
everything African. Now you think the AIDS virus is so rampant that it crawls
in our living rooms. Come On! Africa is beautiful.
i don't doubt that all the negatives i see on CNN are all there is to your country. i know that it is a beautiful place. and if i had the money, i would certainly love to spend time there.
i simply question an ad that generalizes your entire country as a playground - when, in fact - there are a lot of horrible things going on there.
and if you don't want my proud-ass sympathy, maybe i'll stop donating a few hundred bucks a year to help the impoverished of your country. my bad.
sheesh. chill out, already.
would be more like a 4x4 ad if a straight red line from the start point to the finish was drawn.
As a creative from Africa myself I would never take offense to this ad for any of the reasons mentioned above nor (I think) would consumers. But I do agree with the fact that this is an over-used visual device with little thought going into its relavence and I don't believe it communicates a clear brand benefit to the consumer. A brand such as Land Rover has been much more successful in using African imagery whilst using a strong and effective concept.
Well stated!
creative :D
