So are you saying that Gandhi never won while being nominated for 6 times because he was underfed or not that smart?

I was going to say this line is lame. Besides, "underfed" doesn't mean only lack of vitamins/minerals, it's lack of nutrition/food in general. But on second thought - though the connection with the product is totally made up it might push parents into buying the product therefore this ad may be effective.

Kids who are underfed are usually victims of poverty. How will poor parents be able to buy this liquid nutrition for their kids if they can't afford to feed themselves?
