i dont think its a terrible ad but some improvment can be done in the layout too much of white space.

and if you dont know this is the first ad from india to feature on luerzers archive cover

by this i am not saying that its a best work but i am sure it not terrible.

i would like to know y u think its terrible.

P.S. ITS NOT MY WORK :)

It looks like she covered her face in some sticky lotion and now her hair stuck to it.

Not exactly buying the product.

I've got long hair, and though I like the art direction I never quite got the message in this one (it's also like 6-12 months old}
nevertheless, it's just the kind of work we're seeing coming from India lately - trying to copy the brazilian boom with ads that sometimes look just too fake.

I never understood why it made the cover of Archive, but i do think it's a very cool visual. Hate the traditional question headline. An insightful statement would have worked better. Questions as headlines are empty and too easy. 7.5 greasy ones.

well, tell me if I'm wrong, but as far as I've noticed, there's only one criteria to get on the Archive cover - a pretty visual (which btw is perfectly ok, because that's the way with any magazine, only pretty people/pictures get on the cover)

Sorry, what I said was misleading. “O.K. go ahead, please explain to me why this ad is terrible“.
I was being sarcastic, as if to say “now tell me why you don’t like it”. I actually like the photo and the message in it. but I don’t think the “Question” needs to be in copy.

It's ugly and effective.
Reminds me of the hair that collects in the shower drains of hirsute families.
It looks like she has hairy shoulders too.
If the product can sort that out then it should be bottled and sold!
