The poster is illustrated in a Chinese traditional drawing method, maybe in a 1900's style. Well personally I think ppl just did it in a special way, but actually there was nothing to do with this medicine's history, heritage etc. like those old brands, eg. Persil or Stella Artois (See their posters in UK pls)
