When I was 18, my parents always ask me how I was, and I remember so did the parents of my friends.
Actually, most of my friends who tried to kill themselves (thank god all of their efforts were unsuccessful) did so because of too much pressure from their parents.
I mean, are suicidal kids really suicidal because their parents didn't tend to them enough? I think that's part of it, but I don't think it's a good idea to simplify a complicate problem.
I think it's very stupid to think that anyone will look at an ad and say "oh my god, I forgot to care about my kids." Those who do will all ready do, and those who don't probably won't take the suggestion anyway.
And most people say "how are you" to their 18 year olds. So if the target for this ad is the deadbeats... I think the better idea to target the kids with the ad that says "screw them if they never ask you how you are, your life is yours and you shouldn't throw it away or think it is worthless just because a few people out of billions on this earth make you think so."

Well said.
We're going to need more lube.
and don't forget: always cut lengthwise.
This ad lacks insight, sympathy, and most worryingly; understanding.
A very weak attempt at addressing the problem in hand.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
We're going to need more lube.
Those damn emo kids. Always cutting themselves.
Lifeless. No pun intended.
I think that cutting your wrists will not kill you at all, unless you are REALLY sick (e.g. have AIDS or cancer).
And even then, it is hard to hold a blade which is covered with blood. And unless you are on something really strong (heroine, morphine, a large dose of cocaine, sleeping pills) you wouldn't manage to do a dangerous cut without screaming with pain.
Sorry, but cutting your wrists only make you look like an emo kid.
sucks!!
just friendly behaviour............its all
FUCK YOU people who think cutting yourself makes you look like a emo kid or your crazy!!!!....cutting is NOT a something you can help it's like a FUKIN disease!!!! so unless you do it youself and understand it like I do.....than u have no room to talk!!!!!
Wow. That was like a YouTube post, how old are you 14? Get back to class!
We're going to need more lube.
oh, so it's that simple. this really sucks ass.
The picture seems like a simple question, but I get really tired of hearing it. Especially when I don't have an answer to give. Blades like any other weapon were designed to kill. Stay away from them. They're not for suicide prevention.
