So three Mexicans with tattoos equals gang members.... or maybe because the guy in the middle looks angry that makes it ok.

This Guide book is going to go far. This client, Scholz & Friends, and this ignorant campaign has really pissed me off.

Makes me NOT want to have anything to do with Mexico.

Ad = Fail.

So true. At first glance, this is a funny, good idea, but stating that people in these countries are rude and dangerous is a very negative promotion. If you don't want to go there, you don't want to buy a guide book. So fail indeed.

yes...because racism is something delicate and advertising has a "social responsibility" also.

I think germans aren´t all clean and good either

mauroxxx's picture 249 pencils

this is racist... the use of stereotypes is brainless... i'll like to see the print for the "Germany edition" are they gonna show 3 Nazi soldiers ready to shoot at me?

hm, after thinking, i think it is the claim that makes it bad.
with: "Only the nice Places - Loose travel guides" "Find the best places" or "Avoid the wrong places in mexico"
or "Never get proceeded - Stefan Loose travel guides."
it would be clearer. But put me on the credits if you take it...hrhrhr

I know a few mexicans, because I'm mexican. And really, i've never seen guys like these anywhere in Mexico.
These are more stereotypes of mexicans in USA.
If you're going to say something, at least try to know a bit about it.

The concept is ok. But the executions suck.

Think it for a while.
Then, in anytime, it will come to your mind as an idea.
