That's because they rely on a dry sense of humour, which I get, but I understand some people don't. I think these are great. Nothing like that feeling of 'oh now what' when you finish the last line.

if it was in the paper, then you wouldn't be reading "Dont you wish you bought the paper"..

I think people remember stuff like this, esp. if it puts them in kind of an embarrasing fix...

I love it, long copy works dependind on the medium. Public transportation is excellent because you just look for stuff to read just so you can be entertained, it's a very effective ad, depending on the medium that is.
