Goodness gracious me.

Truly amazing pictures. This campaign is fabulous and simply exotic, just like the isle of serendipity. Sri Lanka for the less travelled. This is Gods gift to a most beautiful island.

agree with ya! these mindblowing images can lead to a billion tourists landing up on the small island eh. now that will be a big trip for the lankans. but of the 4 i like the bird, the croc and the elephant. The crab is kinda weak. but i dig the campaign. it's cool.

SIMPLY AMAZING CAMPAIGN! A whole new look at simple but stunning visual language. This should sweep the tourism category at every award ceremony next year! all the best guys!

unbelievably superb work. way to go. am planning a trip to sri lanka next year. hope to see all these places and more.

YES! GOD is the world's best creative dude eh!

Rock on, I agree with that man! God rocks.

GOD IS THE WORLD'S GREATEST ART DIRECTOR!!!

C'mon, don't you guys think this is a bit of a long shot? I think you really have to convince yourself for these, especially the elephant & crab one?

Phew!

what kind of comment is that?

Phew! could be paraphrased in many ways. To clear the ambiguity for you,
the above one expresses dislike.

truly tasteless phew!

Should the world set its standards by your taste?

no! find your peace!

wonderful! are these pictures real????
what an amazing campaign!
truly a labour of love! the photographer must have spent ages to find these images and then to make this campaign!
truly amazing... kudos to you guys!

full marks from me!

Yes, thoda hatke, these pics are very real. I was amazed to see these places when i visited Sri Lanka last year. Great campaign! I love it. whoever says it's bad needs to go back to school.

The pics are real.......... you guys should check out the TV....... Hats off to everyone involved truly awesome coming from a Sri Lankan

Great campaign. Amazingly lovely. beautiful work

Sorry to be the dumb one here, but can someone explain this "absolutely stunning" work to me?

the shape of the coast is forming sth. else - not really though

it could have been done much better. I dont like the art in this... there is nothin gr8 about this camp... its a decent work...

Fantastic images. But this might as well be Discovery Channel. Where is the idea or did I miss anything?

This is a perfect example of art for art sake... No consumer would ever get this, much less be impacted by it. It's painful to see people bow to the giants of our industry simple because they are the giants of our industry.

Wow, amazing, the shape of the coast is forming a bird. Absolutly new in advertising............ bla bla... No, sorry, I don't like it. There is no clever idea in this campaign! Nothing new and no very good Art Direction.

Thanks for the comment Axxl!

It sucks... nobody will get that.

And by the way, it´s nearly the same idea like the Club Med ads ...

Kein Problem Patrick. Musste ja mal gesagt werden. Ich wette alle die diese Kampagne in den Himmel gelobt haben, sind eh von JWT...

great wrk

love the campaign. but have not seen this in international media. is this only print or is there tv as wel?? would love to see it!!

Yeah yeah here's a bay and it looks somewhat like a bird.

Bloody hell. Isn't anyone else sick of the whole "looks like something else" so called "idea" yet?

On top of that, I'm almost certain that these ads were reverse engineered after some creative "genius" spotted a shot that flimsily resembled an animal. My guess is that the crocodile one was first.

Having said all that, its not bad. I just can't believe you're all worshipping it so much. Because its definitely not amazing.

Again one of those ads, but really what's so great about this? Totally agree with Booney, it was perhaps the croc visual that came first, the others are too forced. Come on JWT India, you are better then this, I would not even put this in the agency showreel.

Also Sri Lanka is known more for it's species of rare BATS, not crocs, and what is those Crabs? I don't get that visual either.

I started this thread with goodness gracious me. I'm afraid these ads are just so-so. The crab one is the worst. It looks nothing like one.

Is it just me or did anyone else have to look at the title of each ad before going "wow it kinda looks like a bird.." I don't know, i'm torn between the crab and the elephant for which is less believable. Maybe the elephants here in South Africa look different to those in Sri Lanka? Yup they're African elephants that must be it! Sri Lankan elephants look more like trees...

The ads seem for a website: smallislandbigtrip.com, and i checked the site, looks pretty decent. These ads I do not know what they are promoting, if i just see one ad, and if i see the Crab ad, first I would not get it as a consumer, and as an advertiser I totally wasted my advertising budget.

If I look at the bird watching ad, as a consumer it would fail the 2 sec test. I would look at it and say wow, Sri Lanka is beautiful, NOT, wow, they have nice birds lemme visit it.
