If you can handle clients butchering your ads, you may have the stomach for this.
Deadlines. Executions. Brutal clients. If this is all in a day’s work for you, then this will be right up your abattoir. The Pitch is Singapore’s first industry-wide contest to pit ad agencies against each other in a face off on a strategic and creative brief for a real client. Teams comprise a suit, a creative and a planner. The prizes are to kill for: Over $500,000 of media credits from SPH and $35,000 cash to be won. The coveted Golden Cleaver Award and $250,000 of media credits to the winning ad agency, and $20,000 cash to the winning team. Trophies and prizes also to the two Runners-up. If you make the cut, that is. Register at www.asiaone.com/thepitch by 9 March 2011 to attend the briefing. Any later and you’re dead meat. Only lamb was used for photography.
