Correct me if I'm wrong, but if meat is coarse-ground, it's in bigger chunks. Therefore taking up more space. Therefore leaving less space for anything else. Yet this says 'coarse ground *making more room* for more flavor'. That implies that the flavour comes from something else that isn't the meat. Which isn't a great way to sell sausage as far as I can tell.

And then you pair this with a shot of a bowl full of tightly-packed skinny sausages?

Love to hear the thinking behind this.

Two liabilities here: The headline and the food shot.

There are more ads in this campaign that are actually worse, if thats possible, on their web site. Try tilting your chairs the other way, y'all.

Couldn't have said it better.

"Sit up straight and do some real work" was to be my best effort.

Hey guys,
Thanks so much for all of the feedback, it is much appreciated. It's the very reason we submitted our work to the site. We take responses from experienced creatives very seriously, and we'll do so in this case. Again, thank you for your input.

Have a seat. We have an idea.

Thanks for responding to the critiques TC, a lot of agencies who turn up tend to hide as 'Guest' - good to see you taking the knocks. You mentioned in your mail there were some southern colloquialisms in the original ads- would be interesting to see if these might ameliorate the general negative reaction to the two in this submission.
