Oh god, not another ad with the idea it´s so flat.
Well, that is the selling proposition of this product. You can't talk about it being soft or sweet, because this TV is flat.
ok, one was with the attached sticker "new" at the corner of the flatt tv and I tought it was pretty cool idea, now is a spider? stop recycling guys please... it's just a different execution, but not a new idea.
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn. ka-boring.
Hello, im from argentina, where at not a rich country so i dont get it, why you sell a great tv, with great definition, and everything just because its flat. How does it works? i think that in the countrys this flatness ads are created, all tvs got excelent definition so the sell it as a flat one. If not, i really dont get it.
Ivan, there's a typo on your title...Wega
Thanks and sorry.
aye i'd rather buy a tv with good resolution and features other than flat. between 4 inches and 5 inches thick I don't really care.
thats jus you whitespace nobody cares what you want. the purpose of advertising is to sell to a specific target audience. there are some who will buy and some who won't. thats business. if you're one of those who won't buy...you're one of the few. who da hell cares about your opinion.
so... i should care about your opinion on my opinion?
not trying to back anyone here but i think there is no mistake in the USP of flat panel tv. unlike projection tv, LCD and Plasma is meant to be thin due to more and more people looking for a tv that won't "eat up" their living room space, especially in country like japan, hongkong and singapore as their apartment is quite small.
i personally like this ad, simple. just my oppinion :) cheers
aye, that makes sense, but i don't know if it makes sales.
in reality it is still thick... it's not paper thin (yes save me the lectures on the virtues of exaggeration), and I'm not going to place my sofa to view the side profile of my TV, thank you very much. An inch or two isn't very much space saving. It would make sense if we transited from those CRT/Projection types, yes, but other plasmas and LCD TVs are almost as thin, sans 30% of the price $ony charges.
I'm entitled to my mistake, and it's nice to see some courtesy around here. :)
i have to admit that u got the point right as well, flat is USP for all LCD and plasma, not only for sony. thus this ad did not build the brand of sony but the flat panel tv.
but if this a real ad instead of scam,
it is still better than ads in my country(malaysia) :P
flat tv's, wonderbras, or legos... i don't want to see anything else... just ads for those three things... that is all we do in this profession... if those were the only products in the world, what a wonderful world it would be...
yeah, let's see a really killer bottled gravy ad. hahaahahaahaaa.
excellent
excellent....this TV+sony play station3 = SUPER
