It may be difficult for you to believe, but not all advertising is created to please or amuse you. I'll bet this campaign worked quite well for the product.

That being said, i agree that children are not funny or cute. In advertising or anything.

It's not really about product selling. It's the benefit the users get from using the videocam.
I guess this campaign would appeal to parents more.
