This ad reminds me of some of the Levis ads. Very similiar in concept.
Yes, true. That ad with two people in one pants is very similar somehow.
I think its very different beetwen this ad and Levis. What i see is an artist who try to pull other artist (van gogh), out of his body. not similar concept at all.

most probably it could be paul gauguin, who shared
a room with van gogh at one point of time.
but there is'nt much resemblance to him. whereas van gogh's appearance is exaggerated.
it was in fact van gogh's frustration towards gauguin that he
sliced his ear off.and yes no denying a bit of the sun from painting out-doors.
theo van gogh, his brother could be another option.
