Those who think these are exaggerated should quit Advertising and follow a career in Medicine.

NastyJester's picture 746 pencils

Of course they're exaggerated, you fucking moron, that's the whole point of the ad. But I actually like the thought that these shoes will make you feel 1,000 feet tall. I even like the execution. I'm not so keen on the same idea being used twice, but I can overlook that.

The only thing I don't really like is your assumption that all those who differ with you shouldn't be in advertising. Especially as your point about exaggeration is so obviously fucking redundant. I like it, but it IS an exaggeration. Now go pick up a stethoscope.

Guest's picture

dude, iam sure that you're not from advertising so, shut the fuck up!!

NastyJester's picture 746 pencils

Just don't. No, really... just don't. You've already proved you're an utter embarrassment, so we don't really need your youtube style comments to drive the point home. I mean, are you a complete moron? Or are you just exaggerating?

People, the ad is just a joke. Watch it, laugh or cry and that's it.

It's very old school conceptually. I don't necessarily dig it but its because I think it's trying too hard. Just the same it gets the point across. Executionally I think it is missing a tagline next to the shoe... The identity sucks altogether too and no matter what you say it is part of the ad itself.

Guest's picture

I totally agree with the above comment.

Advertising is not just about exaggeration. Exagerration should make some sense. This is crap.

Guest's picture

ahhh. now I understand:

"shoes for girls with an ugly haircut"

Guest's picture

I think I would like these better if they were explicitly targeting short women who could use a couple inches of added height. There is something missing.

Guest's picture

All this is funny, even the ad, i like it.

The idea is not new. The means to it either. And the execution is just ok.

Sounds like some of you folks need to get laid. So let's all go grab a pint and a girl or a guy and forget about it.

Jeeze.

Guest's picture

DONE. DONE. DONE.

Guest's picture

Instant exageration. It would have much been better if the campaign was made for a cereal or nutrition bar and showed kids heads.

Guest's picture

The degree of exaggeration detracts from the silly 'charm' of it.
Just tone the essence of the idea down a tad.
Hair/head just above street cafe umbrellas... commuter crowd... etc

this looks good(photoshop) than the others.....

Guest's picture

I just can't understand why people use so many cuss words here. Is this a battlefield?

Why so abusive, guys?

Guest's picture

Somebody mentioned that it´s trying to hard. I disagree with that: it doesnt try at all. It´s completely boring and dull.

The man who stops advertising to save money is like the man who stops the clock to save time

Guest's picture

well...my question would be, do all woman want necessarily be taller wearing high heels?
if yes then the ad works.
But I think there are plenty of other reason to wear high heels as a woman.
So a different approach which works both ways would have been more appropriate and
less predictable.

Guest's picture

Alright,
1- Wrong positioning you would like to advertise here ... "We make you ####ing tall".
2- Wrong imagery, a human is so smaller than that beside clouds.
3- Wrong Insight (If there's any), could work for Nike air (with a so different execution though).
4- Please show us ideas that sell, not jokes.

You remind me of someone.
Creative? No.
A client.

sneakyhands's picture 1871 pencils

it's on the good side of just decent. i give it about half a giggle. however, i am now thinking about tall swiss girls, and there ain't nothin' wrong with that.

Guest's picture

Esta muy bien, es algo nuevo!! GOOD!!

Guest's picture

as per the ad, when this heels were worned by the ladys they can see the sky but guys can see more than that.

Guest's picture

execution is pathetic. Visible sun rays at that height above the clouds??? And the lens glare? Looks like an academic exercise.

Guest's picture

nope, nope, nope, there's no idea! seriously, first thought.

Guest's picture

guys can see mre than that then what dose that mean.

Guest's picture

girls ware high heels and boys have bad hair cuts. duh
