is he shaving his legs or what happend to the hairs ???
dont get it
its like a radio in the shower.
if is that, i think is a relly god idea
nice shot, don't get it either
It's almost too simple: his can of Sobe is falling into the bathwater and he wont be able to drink it -- unless he's fast enough to catch it, thanks to the adrenalin rush of the product.

Here, let me save everyone the trouble of asking. "Do you even work in advertising?"
"Do you REALLY work in advertising?"
The ad title says "full of energy" so it means... if it falls in the tub he'll get kill. duh.
we are the champions my friends
the ad title doesn't really matter if it's not in the ad. if the title is so important, they probably should've included it. all i see is a can, of adrenaline (not electrical energy), falling into a tub where a man with disgusting legs is bathing.
>> "if it falls in the tub he'll get kill"
Uh, no: it means the man in the tub is "full of energy" and can therefore catch the can before it falls into the tub. But thanks for playing.

I don't think so.
Even... Did you make this ad?
I get the 'energy' explanation and works so cool, but the theory about the adrenaline and the man full of energy sounds so plaaain.
You all, the answers in your face:
http://adsoftheworld.com/media/print/sobe_adrenaline_rush_911
Has the guy the 'rush of adrenaline' to avoid the paramedics? Or maybe the parameds has the energy to ride along the city all night to save lives?
C'mon people. Opinions are free, but it costs.
I'm sorry you dont think so, but that's OBVIOUSLY what's going on. The nimrod set his can on the edge of the tub and now it's about to fall in. Seriously, how difficult is that to see?
>> "the theory about the adrenaline and the man full of energy sounds so plaaain"
Maybe because it *is*? No everything is high concept, you know. Sometimes it's just a plain, simple ad.

i think the energy drink is almost like a blowdryer or soemthing, he doesnt wanna get electrecuted?? i duno.
he doesn't want to be electrocuted idiots
Why he needs energy drink when he takes a bath?!?!?
Or he will ......
????????? its obvious that he is afraid because the can is making a cannonball jump to the bath tub so he wont be able to finish his bath because all the water will be spilled... (sarcasm... is great sometimes)
nanel is right.
Ah ah. Love it ! The idea and the treatment are great.
+1 Nanel. Seriously, it's simple guys. Are you retarded ? He's afraid of getting electrocuted, that's it.
EDITED.
I was going to say something else, but never mind. Just look at the ad, guys.

ha,ha!it's so clear!
A ver señores Victor Garcia, Rene Valencia-Arellano:
piensen antes de aprobar algo asi.
Es una bebida energetica, por qué se la estaría tomando en el baño? . Es para tomarse en el trabajo, en la fiesta, o en millones de lugares más activos.
El baño es para descansar. ILOGICO.
si, continuen haciendo propuestas grises del monton sin comunicacion diferenciada. LOGICO. (jajajaja)
hehehehe
the idea is nice, but i dont know...
Sean Martin you clearly work in advertising as a media buyer.
I have finally looked at it long enough (about 5 mins) to work out that 'energy' is meant to mean electricity and he thinks he will be electrocuted when it hits.
Too hard to make the connection = 2/10
Sean, go back to your spreadsheet.
I give up. You guys are just looking for deep, deep meaning where there is none. Apparently, it *is* possible for things to be set too low on the comprehension scale.

too hard? is so obvious!
2 am here in italy and i got it at first glance.
doesn't seem to be so misterious!
and i like it!
nicoruk.
The subtext is this ad is, quite obviously, masturbation.
Notice the long phallic shape of the can "shooting" it's load into the bathtub. One could easily imagine the man was wanking in the bathtub and accidentally jostled his Sobe energy drink.
In the end, it's about guilt over masturbation. The creators of the ad and the company selling the product know that you masturbate too much and that their energy drink can restore your precious bodily fluids. Or, at least that's what they want you to think.
But, really the problem with your deficiency in bodily fluids is fluoridation of your city water. But there's no money in informing you of that. An energy drink will have to do.
huh?
Guest commentator has nailed it. I'm off to get one away in the bath.
im not sure where the confusion is. i think its supposed to be like a hair-dryer falling into the bath. energy, electricity, sorta thing? i might be wrong.
SPOOF. SPOOF. SPOOF! Im so tired of watching the Guatemalan BBDO branch MASTURBATING in this website. Why don't you let us see your real work??? (I just happened to be in Guatemala, and believe me THIS IS NOT the advertising SOBE is running in real life) yuk.
dont understand this advertising???????????????????
