they could have worked with clean typography and a less flashy background...
The copy can be better. Like it.
Art direction makes them look cheap.

I don't like the art direction. The art is supposed to eflect the quality and this cartoon graphics don't do it any favors. I do like the headlines, but i would have gone for a lot less flash and a little more elegance.
Agreed. Use type similar to client logo.
Give it more 'tude & personality.
