cool. so unless you get that thin, you can't get out.
This has to have been done before, because an acquaintance tried pitching this very idea to me.
You have to hate advertising in order to truly love it.
nice, i guess
http://jazarah.net/blog/
it has been done the other way around for a boxing/training club
entrance small and exit large
- Here I should have written something smarter -
you are right. it's a complete rip-off of an old gold's gym ad.
I think it was in the 95 CA annual.
yep.
i have seen that gym ads too.
Copy Cat ! Meow ~~

Oh my god. It's from my home town. Shame ...
Hahaha... Why dont u post some of your ads and let me have some f**king comment of yours.
little thin skinned there, aren't you?
in case you mean me... look and ye shall find.
Nice idea. Awful entrance and exit signs!
The Ad Mad
Seen this execution a few times. For Golds gym for example but reversed. Walk in skinny (thin door) walk out huge (Big door)
seriously, the ripoffs are soooooo blatant, or these agencies don't even go out into the daylight at all.
Done. Babybel light cheese (2001) ref: Cannes archive, Gold Gym (1998) ref : C.A. annual.
yeah! this was done before...

One of them here: http://adsoftheworld.com/media/print/weight_watchers_doors but I don't have the classic ad done for Gold's Gym from years ago with the brick wall.

Another one, from a series, there's one with a swimming pool, a Ford Mustang and a couple of doors....
bad bad bad
sorry to be picky, but the reflection.... and the idea is kinda old...

very good idea
Maybe it´s done before. Maybe not. Anyway I really don´t think this is a good way to speak to the potential target group. Have you never learned the rule of tone and voice "We understand you.". Making an ad like this surely doesn´t witness of an agency that understand the tg. Would you make the opposite ad for anorectic girls? No propably not. What´s the difference?
I think one of the most important thing is grab the attention of the readers b'cos that's where everything starts. If no one pays attention to the ad the message would not get thru. A lot of AWARD WINNERS also exaggerate their product benefits.
- end - of your creative life
:-X
done in different ways for light cheese and so on
This idea has been made one thousand times. Your creative director needs to see more ads.
Long Yun Siang and Wan Hoon: This had been done before. Cut the crap.
Mr Eugene , Pls CUT the CRAP. do u know what is advertising all about? is not about AWARD, is about helping ur client SALE. AS an senior AD, i guess u know just maybe u are lost now...
hello ex ad, i'll stop by : (removed by yin) and discuss all the client driven ideas with u. i wanna boost the sales of our company too...hope to see u soon.
dear yin, pls don't stalk me, i have no time for u. i don't even know u.
just kidding....just felt funny that u put ur whole address there...ok..let me removed it...sorry to offend u....
Milk of shame
Boredom
One of that "been there, done that" feelings.
I got that idea killed in my braindstorming session.
