the first time I saw this I thougt it was really great and smart. But now looking at it again I'm not so sure. Just because if you're walking on the opposite direction and you see the product first and then the girl, it acuatually says "Get-fat-fast". I still like the idea. just wonder how people feel like when they see this, if they get the wrong message.

I think it works fine both ways. It's certainly more effective advertising if you approach from the left and first see the thin girl holding a can of SlimFast. "Thin with SlimFast, Fat without it" is what I read into it.

If you're approaching it from the right side (where the man's coming from), she's still going to be slim, then fat, and then slim again while holding a can of SlimFast in her hand.

Even if one didn't turn around and look at the can, the "illusion" of slim/fat still works.

I agree guys. It's not fool proof. I think this ad works best documented on a website.
