Amusing ad. That's what captures the readers' attention. And someone wrote about spelling mistake, it is not. Defence is British English, while Defense is American. Depends on what you follow.

Seeing as how your target demographic is older people - I don't think they would find this funny at all. you have to think about the audience and the time they grew up in (wars and violence). To a younger audience, this is funny, and it would work. But not for this target. Nice try.
