I like this, but can someone please explain why this is Cannes worthy? I don't seem to ever really get what makes a Cannes worthy ad a Cannes worthy ad, yet people on here seem pretty good at calling them.

The courier service delivers so fast/reliable that the customer knows by the time the fish and water hit the table, the bowl will already be there. I do see the logic flaw Guest | Fri, 2009-08-07 06:36 mentioned: the background is the pet store, not a house. At an actual pet store the workers use nets to get your fish. You use the bag to take them home and drop them in your bowl/tank.

I dream of a day when chickens will be able to cross the road without being questioned regarding their intentions.

It's ok, not bad. But definitely Cannes worthy.

Copy seems pretty beseeching. Execution is good, Idea is OK. Copy is weaker part of the ad.

They could have done some better copy.

DONE SO MANY TIMES is the lamest post without proof, and especially when posted by a "Guest".

BTW - Great ads - though the goldfish is the weakest. If it's in a pet store, why would the pet store owner be pouring a plastic bag with a fish in it into a bowl? They use nets. Bags are for people that take the fish home. Maybe that's the logic flaw noted in the post above? Also at first glance I thought it was a courier ripping open the bag to pour it out, not into something - must be the apron/uniform.
