Illustration's a bit difficult to untangle.

Everyone knows smoking is bad.

I'm not coming away with any new convincing argument.

it's about reminding us what we used to know , like dusting off the memory shelf. as for it self it's ain't bad, but - no extra.

interesting ad. made me look through all the illustrations. I don't think it does the job though, but then again, non smoking campaigns never work.

People know that smoking causes health problems. There's not even anything here that shocks. Illustrations rather than photography make it less real. This poster is just a decoration on the wall.

I don't know a lot about addiction, but maybe the only way an ad is going to help people give up smoking is by focusing on people who are already trying to give up (which I guess is probably a good number of people) -- and give them something that will help them with what they are trying to do.
