I think he's going for a minimal style, which I must say makes this campaign stand out from the crowd. It doesn't look right at first look, but the whole emptyness creates visual tension that helps the message.

I’m familiar with Menno’s work and this pales in comparison. It’s just simply boring and uninteresting. For a topic as important as global warming this ad fails to create any sense of urgency. I think there is a better idea out there for this one.

I have no idea who the fuck Menno is, but actually, this is not a bad idea. 'Cept I've seen it done elsewhere. And it's basically a collection of one-offs, which Tony doesn't seem to mind as long as the name "Saatchi/NY" is out there getting more exposure.
But I gotta admit, I love all their "after-dark" advertising exercises...

Yet further proof of the 'make a name for yourself and everyone thinks your ads are great' scenario. If Menno wanted to do his bit for the environment he should have started by throwing this scamp in the recycling bin.
