obviously I'm not the targeted audience... don't get it

if you ad the value of each letter, you get the same sum for both names (do the math)

nice, i like the campaign. very simple, and straight foward! and fun too

Great insight, the executions of castro=bush and jordan=maradona are brilliant.

too bad.. you.. can't.. use NAMES.. in scrabble.

good point.... ruins the ad a bit

That's a very basic rule too. Wouldn't take much research to find it out... just read the rules!

great point.

though, they could easily flip it to use things other than proper nouns.. i think...

who said you can't? will scrabble police break down your door if you played scrabble with your own rules? you call yourselves creative people?

but yeah, the idea has got nothing to do with the game. this is more of political commentary using scrabble. better as an ad for time magazine or something.

I love the campaign!
I really like how the logo morphs in each ad

Do the math, both names have the same score, I guess that's what they wanted to say.

I don't think it matters that you can't use names in Scrabble. Because, you see, it's not a game of scrabble. It's an ad.

Still there is a contradiction. If you don't know the game, you Won't understand. Donno what was in the brief :-)

interesting...

My God this fails.

There are far far far more brilliant ideas for scrabble.

Who cares if a name equals another name ?????

WTF has this to do with the game.

What? you can now have 12 letters at once?

Rubbish.

IVAN?

100% agree, well put Lefty.

I'm an avid scrabble player and this ad is seriously flawed.

amazing ad

peter griffin is far more hilarious though

Please tell me who Peter Griffen is.

I remember a campaign for Scrabble years back that went:
"The only time celibacy is better than sex."

Beats this entire series hands down even without Double Letter Score.

Agreed, whitey!
"The only time you want to get diahorrea"... a great campaign.
This is missing the charm/appeal of the game, for me.
The name name = name name / 'do the math' is leading us/it somewhere else.
And you only ever have 7 letters to play with.

actually, it would depend on where one places a tile... a real ad would've used photography.

what is scrabble??? and why do some letters have the same mathematical value?

Simple, creativo, lindo y llamativo....que mas se puede pedir...buen trabajo grafico JWT...

Sorry, pero no entiendo esta idea.
