I give it points for staying true to a minimalist approach, which everybody pays lip service to, and then constantly chickens out of. There's a sly humor at work here too. I like.

Dang, this thing is getting terrible ratings. How come? I think the idea is really great. The execution is a little bland, though. I can agree on that.

Maybe if they just made a whole world out of obscure words, using the letters. Buildings, bridges, people, animals, all scrabble words made from scrabble letters. Done well, that would be visually spectacular, and would really push the idea that there are tons of words out there, everywhere you look. waiting to be learned.

This is a great ad. It gets the audience to play the game instantly, and is more mature than most game board ads.
