I guess a pun isn't overused until you've actually used it on every single thing that exists on this earth. This idea was also used for Volkswagon promoting the Toureg as the official car of England's cricket team, using three orange parking pylons. Oh, and it's a different category. :)

I don't like this type of advertising that transform things to say something. It's so antique. So forced and hermetic. I remember a Tennis French Open one that showed a tennis ball with the form of a croissant. That was like ten years ago.

x-men, the best advertising was done 10 years ago. Antiques are good.

Talking about antique advertising, remember that very good ad that showed 6 brains? 5 of them where the same size and represented the people of each continent, the sixth brain was smaller and represented the racists. mikelite, I dedicate it to you.

Why dont you look it up mikelite & chucknorris. This site is called adsoftheworld, which means you will get ads that are culturaly releavant for that country, not everything revolves around the US of A

I didn't ask for an explanation, so no need to tell me to look it up.

And as matter of fact, I'm from Brasil, not the USA.

Being from Canada, I didn't really understand this ad either, and all mikelite did was ask for an explanation, because we don't have cricket here.

How does that possibly make him racist? If he was from Australia, you would have simply explained the ad for him, and not responded with an onslought of anti-Australian slurs.

You guys just don't like americans, which is fine, lot's of people don't - But that's why you all responded so negatively, which simply put, makes you the racists.

Id be really suprised if an Australian asked, thats a number one sport overthere but I wouldnt expect you to know that.

PaulyG, if Mikelite just said, hey I dont understand this could someone please explain this to me then im sure people would have been happy to explain but the way he had to insert the American into it that made it so arrogant.

I think its you Canadians that dont like Americans either.

fine, I still don't see what offended you guys about him saying that he was American. Cricket isn't a big sport in North America. So instead of just looking like he didn't get it because he's dumb, he explained that it's because he's from a country that doesn't support that sport.

What if he had said, 'for the people from countries that don't have cricket?'

You guys are a tad sensitive.

is everyone mad here?

20+ comments and not a single one gave an explaination?

and people who asked politely to have one were accused of RACISM, of all things?

why on Earth, lol, makes no sense AT ALL.

will someone PLEASE explain it, or not?

The radiator looks like cricket stumps - the three wooden poles that the batsman bats at in a game of cricket. Lots of radiators in uk homes look like this, but are much longer.

or you could just be a decent human being for a change and help the rest of us bafoons since you clearly know it all.

google 'therapists' and you should be able to resolve a lot of these issues. There are options for you. There is help out there. The day can come when you don't wake up and project all of your pent up aggression on a bunch of faceless, nameless people you met on an internet blog half a world away.

I'm sure I speak for the majority when I say - glad you're justpassingby.

Wow, what a speech. This is like something out of those hollywood teen movies. The breakfast club or something.
Is this the part where im supposed to look down with shame while all my classmates give me a look of disappointment? Than I storm out pissed off and all the geeks in the class come up to you with huge smiles on their faces, then it cuts to the outside of a high school.
The doors slam open and you see Pauly G being carried out on his classmates shoulders all cheering and throwing their homework and books up in the air. Cut to credit.

you got 'er bud.

And it actually wasn't anything like a speech, just some advice from a concerned internet blogger.

Google "speeches" and you should be able to find some examples to help clarify.
