This idea doesnt make sense. Usually foods that are removed from the ground should be ziplocked to seal in their life.

By ziplocking the vegetables while still in the ground, the veggies will die or stop growing.

Nice try, but no cigar;-)

No ... really? Wow! You're so right! That wouldn't work at all. I can't believe that they overlooked that. How dumb. Well that ad just won't work then. <_<

Justin- I'm afraid that's precisely why I find this ad funny, and, amusing even. the farmer here figured he'd protect his crop using the ziplock baggies, which of course, doesn't make any sense. it played nicely in my mind, the way people might think this product would protect whatever is in it.

so sealing your pet in a ziplock is gonna keep him alive longer...right?

yes, and then we can push it even further and start digging up corpses and putting them in too, the bag must be able to revive them?

Hehehe...The intended message is...keeps your food as fresh as if it was still underground, but then i agree..somewhat not there...it's a nice thought though.

Congratulations you are the person #26 that did put something still alive in a Ziploc bag to keep it fresh forever. You win 2 internets.

I like the idea, pretty funny, the photo in itself ... well the colours are a bit yellowed, especially the sky, but then I suppose the ad is showing in Chile (?) and perhaps that's a normal sort of sky for them.

Very nice. Have to agree with the others though that there is some confusion in the story.

funny! you can not compare preservation & growth.

They're not comparing Preservation and Growth. They're comparing Fresh with Fresh. Fresh out of the freezer is as fresh as fresh out of the field.

My issue is that a pile of dirt does not look fresh to me.
