The max sea rise we can expect is about 100m, which is way below the 7000+ heights of Chomolungma.

I get it, but it's pretty 1st degree. It's not bad, but it's not memorable, either.

The actual Diesel Campaign is so much better... see the Mount Rushmore ad, really great. This is weak.

vicky, you can't compare this ad with diesel campaign, on this one they are selling the problem of global warming in the other one the're trying to sell jeans without anycare of a planet. diesel campaign is absolutely stupid, the attitude is wrong, they've been made many things really great before but not this time. Also this ad is not so great.

Hi Bompa!

Well...I love the new diesel campaign, there is nothing i can do about it!

The Diesel ads have always been so cynical and sarcastic, and maybe the "global warming ready" campaign is the most cynical one, but is beatifull, its an scape from the bad news, a joke.

If i compare, is just because this public service ad, and the mount rushmore ad from diesel share the same concept...as you said, this one is not so great. So, lets check another one!

By the way, english is not my natural language, so, sorry about all the "typos"and the bad spelling and and all that crap...

Ok, sea level rose about 8900 m and all we care about is the challenge scaling the Mount Everest. Hm.

You're right folks that it is not giant idea, but it is very well executed. I like the photo.

Here I am sharing a realistic write by a poet from Nepal about the pain mt. everest is going through. Here is the poem.

Talk to me, Mt. Everest
- Bhuwan Thapaliya

Talk to me, Mt. Everest
in any mode, you can.
To the world, your murmers
are only the bulges of the snow
but me, I understand.
As a stretched rubber band,
You’re looking for a refuge
to take a breather
for a year or two
far away , far away
from the ripple
of the human muscles
and the camber
of your own glaciers.
