genius?
this is utter rubbish, sorry.
The microphone is so badly done, this could have been so much better. Lazy lazy job

Firstly, dont digital cams by default come with a hi-end microphone these days? Secondly underwater booms arent usual dry booms used during conventional shoots. The boom could have rather been done away with and a faux like bubbles originating out of the directors oxygen cylinder. Also the Sanyo tag looks more like an underwater tour ticket. Could have just been a line at the bottom saying " The World's first waterproof digital movie camera from Sanyo".

Art is wonderful.

Hmm and flying saucers don't exist so you can't use them in an ad. I think the retouching is brilliantly done. And the idea is much better than a lot of other shit out there. Plus we do have to remember, when you deal with clients invariably you have to sacrifice a few things. I think these guys came out fairly unscathed.

support your fellow kind, i understand

TRICKY's picture 3932 pencils

what i cant understand is that this Camera (before the boom storyin the comments) itself can only....... and hear me good........ it can record up to 1,5m that's all......!!!!!!
while in here it shows as if you are at 5 meters depth, now i understand that flying saucers dont exist, this is why you use em but in this case you are lying to your consumers you are advertising a specific specification in a wrong way

if not.... i didnt get it before i read the comments below in red

Lets face it, if you spray AXE all over yourself youre not going to have one thousand women running towards you either, right?

TRICKY's picture 3932 pencils

you just might!!!!!! if you are good looking and happens that 1000 woman tic for the same fregrance it might happen but in here no way jose that the camera can go to 5 meters so are you for the ads that make it to the awards or for the ads that sells the product in creative way (not a lie)

sorry to keep going back to this but what a waste of brief. I wished we got briefs like this.
Wouldnt it be cool if you make some fish or marine wildlife look like famous actors for example?
or what if you use a crabs claw to look like a clapperboard?
so many damn possibilities

walkingbuddha's picture 190 pencils

crab claw for a clapperboard... genius.

where do you work justpassingby?
