"Mouse" is the weakest of the three, unless there is a wild mouse exhibit at the SF Zoo I don't know about. This idea is cute but they could have done much more with it, maybe along the lines of the Emperor (penguin) spot for Canal+.

Agreed. After I read the headline my eye goes right to the logo and then to the line of tiny copy. So by the time you read the copy you're like "...No I wasn't"

I believe it's a poster, so the first thing that catches your eyes (from a good 5 to 10 meters away) is 'BEARS'. It does not matter what came into your mind first (football, stock market, etc), the point is: if you did NOT think about the ZOO, then maybe it's time you did.
On the negative side, yes I think it could have done more to lure people in. I doubt I'd remember this after I pass it in a subawy and get the 'oh' factor.
we had negative 4 dollars to do the entire campaign. does that count for anything? i don't know. but their attendance is way up so maybe.
or maybe people just like animals. thanks for the comments though. it means a lot that people even care to reply.

This is one low budget ad hahaha
Doesn't entice me to go to the zoo...
and saw it coming because the have a logo that has animals in it already, so immediately animals come to mind, not football or computer peripheral.
Think they could have taken the idea further... maybe using art direction to purposely lead them in the 'wrong' way first...
hmmm...
