good enough for the target customer... and nice picture too.
@brainsugar... net zooming is somebody else's problem then the birds.

ranggamus's picture 53 pencils

Wow! great idea! but maybe the shadow should show the shape more to make it clear even if we saw it on the first sight.

Guest's picture

coul someone explain? where do you see the helicopter?

Super Muhtar's picture 267 pencils

not a bad idea, but I think we need a "sign" for distance. This looks like "a little child is looking to the photographer who's sitting on the wall".
I'm also a target customer, but not clear enough for me.

Guest's picture

if the girl is looking up it means that the photographer is not that far away. she could see where you are. it makes this product pretty ordinary.

Guest's picture

We all do look up....sometimes...when an aircraft passes overhead. Especially in rural and remote areas. The photographer was lucky...I guess :-)

it took me 9 seconds to realize it's shot from a chopper.

Stop Mediocrity. Start Creativity.
There are two kinds of people in the world; people who like mustangs (cool people) and people who like camaros (idiots).

Come on guys... It's not from helicopter, It's from PLANE kidos!!

Guest's picture

Meanwhile, back in Nerdsville... Light from the sun is almost parallel, so the shadow from the plane would not be reduced. A nice idea that technically sucks.

Guest's picture

Dear Nerd-ite, a few creative liberties need to be taken to establish the idea. After all, fellow nerds are also viewing these ads. We need to make it simple for them to understand too!

The photo is not taken from a helicopter, its taken from a plane, in the shadow you can see perectly the outline of a plane and you can even see the engine turbine.
And thats precisely the technical problem with this ad, that obviusly the shadow casted by a plane wouldnt be that small, and it could actually cover huge areas, therefore, you shouldnt be able to see the cast in this picture.

Regarding the child looking at it, its a common thing specially in rural areas.

Guest's picture

It many Be small plane......

Whats the idea besides being a nice shot

Same idea, done by some ad agency in Malaysia, for Satellite Tracking Device for Dog. Won a few major shows as well. Come on guys! This is lame, compared to the original.

Vishesh Pujari's picture 4 pencils

Yeah, i found it. It's a different Idea.

But, you idiot, you didn't get the Malaysian ad and this Indian one too!

You must be a true, blue-blooded moron!

gfxsatya's picture 8 pencils

good idea

rpanoop's picture 138 pencils

not thought through well.
and technically the shadow wouldn't even be visible from the kind of height they are trying to show.
maybe they could've used water to show the reflection instead.

sunilcreates's picture 99 pencils

i like it. Good one.
