I like the found visual but the message is very cryptic.

I am going to agree with you.

It's quite clear, as a matter of fact.

You have got to be fucking kidding. You really think the average person (who despises most advertising) is going to give this a second thought?? They'll see it, not understand it and move on. Ad folks need to stop advertising to other ad folks!

love the approach, could have been excellent by having the boy holding a stereo (instead of the grandma's stolen bag) with rollerblades, and maybe a grandpa trying to ground him and holding up his cane, or something like that

It's all about streaming and band width.
The idea - It's so fast that you don't have a chance to catch up with the (buffering) speed...
Clever. :-))

Cool concept but it should be for an ISP. Technically this streaming issue is reliant on youtube's distribution network and your internet speed, not your device.

The fact that the concept was clearly delivered without a single word is the slick-spiffyness of the ad.

Yes, I agree with you that by and large, connection speed and YouTube's MASSIVE server farms/connections have a lot to do with this.

But don't these numbers also contribute (I don't really know jack about this though)?
HSPA+ 21 Mbit/s 850/900/1900/2100
EDGE/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900
dual antenna 802.11 a/b/g/n

I like. Gives a giggle. Surprised they didn't do a campaign. It's a nice visual idea.

Pretty nice, but I don't like how separated the logo/tagline area and the art showing the idea are. And I agree with Arthor, not really an ad for the device.

the robber doesn't stand out well enough. at first glance, all i saw was the old lady and totally misconstrued the intended message.
