This idea has been done a lot and I can't understand it's been done again. The line has featured at least three other campaigns and this exact execution can be seen here : http://blog.coolz0r.com/2006/10/02/a-dog-is-for-life/ , which is fairly well known.
Other than that it does look quite nice but the above is surely better.

"Pets aren't toys"? How about a less obvious way to say the same thing next time. I don't know, something like "You can't just turn it off"... I hate obvious.
