i feel there is something wrong about this ad, why should the text be placed on the asphalt in the shape of a wine glass? if we have to say, ok we want it this way, then why should the letters be flipped? and if both points were justified why the would i want to read the mixed letters so quickly!!!!! GEEZ!!!!!

because you`re sober (i presume so)
Ok the only thing attractive in these is the text in the shape of the object. This Cmabrigde Uinervtisy rscheearch is becoming like internet slang.
But lets be real, this looks very interesting to the public.
hahaha im surprised at this ads... they suck because #1 if you're supposed to read them while sober...the message is not memorable... #2 if you're supposed to read them while drunk, i'm sure mixing up the letters and placint text in awkward positions really helps a slow brain to understand the message... #3 considering the target audience... abstract messaging like this showed to be the least attractive to the drinking population in some focus group we did a couple months ago... and #4 this same idea has been done 1000 times before. :D.

just one word, done!
I think this page is for critics, bad critics. They've seen it all. They know it all!! If you just stop being so hater and make more constructive critics, this page would be more helpful..but you just can't read the comments, 97% of them are in a hater tone.
I agree. Somehow I realize that most of the people that criticize those ads are not even publicists because most of their comments are "Don't get it". So their opinnion is meaningless.
do you realize the most important thing about an ad is a clear idea? one, that people GET?
Is it just me or is there a grammar mistake... past tense then present tense... hm... ?
hiiii!!! "if your life depended" is not past tense.
I understand what they were trying to do, but the fact is you can read it correctly or jumbled in the same amount of time. The brain is an amazing thing.

almost... the same. that's the point. if you lose only a fraction of a second, you're done.
What if your life depended on writing more than one headline.

"FATS" not "FAST"

Myabe, if you wuold hvae foucsed more on driving, intsead of triyng to raed siht wrtiten on the ashpalt, you wuoldn't be in a coma rghit now.
I do have one question, though: why is the message in English and not in Romanian? Is English the official language in Romania, or are they fluently bilingual? Hm... I'd give it a 'meh' standing.
