What the hell? Drive safe or some schmuck is going to wear your shirts and sleep with your wife after you die?

Very strange messages being exemplified in this ad... not sure how I feel.

I like this idea but why so subtle? I barely noticed the new guy. (maybe it's because I've already had a few). Nevertheless, the line is what's doing all the heavy lifting here. The first photo could have just been the couple only, and the 2nd photo could have been her with a new husband PLUS a new baby. On second thought –– I don't know. Works either way though. Still ANOTHER iteration of the classic before and after ad.

i don't really care for the strategy. kind of a dumb scare tactic. and the fact that my wife will be happy again isn't necessarily a negative. even if it is with another man.

The nightmare of subic, why don't they just aim for cmma?

barely noticed tht there was a new guy .....

Hmmm very difficult to notice the change

this won a grand prix award at this year's golden drum.
it's ok, but nothing shockingly excellent

This won a grand prix?
I doubt this would even easily make the shortlist anywhere else.
But at least they're a little bit humble about their position as a relatively new awardshow:

"The most important and the most noticed advertising overview and event of the year."

"Entering the Golden Drum New Europe 2007 competition is opened to all agencies, advertisers, clients, design or production houses, TV houses, media or other parties involved in creation or production of marketing communication registered in the following countries:
Albania, Austria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Malta, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan."

It's an award show for countries that can't win at other award shows.

Well said Spanky. Golden DUMP New Europe Awards.

if you look at some ads that won GOLD drums, then we can see their level, which is not very high (sorry to say this). Well, i think we have to respect their region, level, etc etc, but...
definitely they should raise the bar if they wanna win globally.

this campaign being finalist in cannes or clio is something i can´t imagine, let alone winning grand prix, wherever.

raise your bars! blaze new trails! etc etc

Soft, subtle, but nice.
>>>> That's not an ad. THIS is an ad.

Crappy art-direction but funny concept.

Let's look at this another way: the man is already wearing your shirts, sleeping with your wife, etc. That's the reason you decided to crash your car.

Oh, that's not the point of this ad?

I may be the only one that feels that it would be more powerful if there was absolutely no change.
