Idea's okay. Lovely art direction.
I like it. And agreed, the art direction is lovely.
Art direction is great, but these bare a striking resemblance to the stuff that Rethink Vancouver did for Playland. It's on page 60-61 of the CA Ad Annual.

I was thinking the same thing.

agreed the art direction is nice, but i have seen the concept before done for an amusement park i believe.
Thanks for all the great comments. I am the art director of this campaign. This campaign was done almost one year before Rethink came out with the Playland campaign. You can see at the bottom that it's for 2005 rodeo. This campaign won Best of show of the Lincoln Addy 2005 and published in Graphis magazine in 2005 and published in the Print Regional 2006
I moved to Vancouver in Jan 2006 and showed my book around before Rethink comes out with the similar campaign around March 2006. But i believe it is just coincidental.
Well good on ya for sticking up for yourself : )
On the other hand, the photoshop and overall look of these doesn't compare with the Playland stuff.
Considering my barebone budget, I take that as a compliment. Thanks:)
wow. hick festival.
Good for you, squinting eyes. Most people, as made obvious by the comments posted about your work, are dicks. It is so much easier to give out critism when sitting behind a keyboard. I can appreciate the right to do so, I just wish it were more constructive.
I make ads. Sometimes poorly.
Thanks fits21. It's very kind of you. I wish the same.
