Feels forced to me. Are you really releasing them from the disease? Then another step after that is the metaphor of the handcuffs.
Also i dont like where the copy is placed. Either it should go at the point at which the open cuff is opening or away from the graphic down below tying the benfit more closely with the product.

Good visual, ok line, but a bit random, don't you think? This would work for a lot of diseases. But works, I have to admit.

hey ivan.. i know my comment is little late... but doesnt this ad remind you of the other one where there were crosses placed on top of water tabs and the headline says something along the line get rid of or kill 99% of germs... anyway i feel that one is more original than this one...
