the press played a part in getting him fired, so that wouldn't make much sense. would have worked 5 years ago.

Guest's picture

Exactly. Would have.

Can someone explain these?

Blahg's picture 648 pencils

Hugo Chavez, the man pictured in the I.D. is the president of Venezuela. The creative is trying to drive the point that in Venezuela, a country with very poor journalistic integrity, the government is your source of news. Being an outspoken journalist can land you in prison.

I assume the others in the campaign are similar for other countries.

Reporters Without Borders is an international organization devoted to press freedoms.

Saatchi guys have been doing a lot of political stuffs recently......Shouldn't we remain politically/ religiously neutral? Otherwise we are just a bunch of propaganda tools.

brainzed's picture 652 pencils

That's what we are. Just a bunch of propaganda tools, working for powerful lobbies as the automotive industry, tobacco companies, press groups… which are always involved in politics.

Guest's picture

Goooooooood! Simple and clear. Maybe a little boring in the layouts, always the same, but this is a really clean idea.
