The analogy is just wrong. Killing elephants is a wildlife conservation issue. Murdering journalists is a political issue. They are not to be weighed against each other.
On the contrary, I find the message very strong!
Don't you find it unreal and absurd to have a weaker condamnation for killing a person than for killing an animal?
