The creative director ended up in an idea for the ad while experimenting with the Blend Tool.
This is so Arbit! There's no fine writing in it at all...
Furthermore the art work appears to be made with the Blend tool as Blashyrkh mentions, at least use a Reynolds Pen!

They could be trying to depict that there's a consistent and uninterrupted flow of ink onto the paper... A simple and visually appealing way to show the same...
