Cheap and classless campaign. These sexual emoticons, if you will, haven't been cool or new since AOL was cool and new. Really stale concept.

Sidenote: I noticed the other day that another pornography site currently has a large billboard up in Times Square, but it promotes safe sex and using condoms. I wonder if we'll see more advertising from this industry.. it is one of the most lucrative industries in the world.

The insight that you don't need a condom for virtual sex pleasure could have made a much stronger campaign than these cheap ass (sorry for the pun) emoticons.

I 'decoded' this campaign in the same way - if that's the message, and it really can only be that message, then they're going at it in a very clumsy manner; too many layers to scrape through to reach a crossroads of meaning.

Succinct and relevant. Internet porn is internet porn after all.

Wow people, you really need to grow up, I actually find very cool the design of this Advertising campaign. Are simple, clever, and actually they send the perfect message to the perfect target, the hell do you expect? RedTube is a internet website, obviously they are targeting people with a life style around the internet and this fit perfectly.

Yet Im aware the company could make a design with a lot of layers, vector layers and fancy "hand-made" typo, maybe they could hire a professional photographer but... are you people that childish about design?

What?, can you do it better?, I doubt it, if you people are really on the design area, you can do better next time you open your mouth.

If the new chat function was the primary message it could work. But it isn't.

They are targeting people (mostly men) who are getting off by looking at people having sex. These people don't necessarily have a lifestyle around the internet, and certainly don't get horny by looking at their keyboards. They're looking for porn, but are too ashamed, too busy, or whatever, to step into a video store and ask for a porn movie.

So, the problem isn't the design. It's the strategy and idea. But maybe you can ask your teacher to explain those words to you, before you open your mouth about us opening ours. If you can't handle people giving their humble opinion about (probably: your) work, please turn of your computer (that's that thing with the sperm on its keyboard) and protect yourself, and us, for posting stupid comments.

Something's been lost in translation here. "No condom" because you're masturbating or what? Even so what does that have to do with "Now with private chat"?

i think its because u don't need condom to have pleasure in a private chat or even accessing redtube videos. just it

Well, I never use condom during real life chatting. Am I irresponsible?
My point is: you are using a general argument about online porn (no condom is needed)
for a specific service you want to advertise. The visual is connected though, but porn chat
is not really about drawing butts - you are not waking anyone's libido with this ad.

It's always sad for me to see how powerful and appreciated this industry is.
Am I alone thinking that p0rn is the biggest proof of how humans (especially men) are alone, lazy, lobotomized, hungry and weak?...
I must be a dreamer.
