I don`t remember the exact year maybe 2004-2005 in cannes won a Blood Donation Ad from South Africa. The headline was written with blood, it said soomething like this:

SEE, LOOSING BLOOD FOR A GOOD CAUSE IS NOT BIG DEAL.

Well, it reminds me of this "Donate Blood" ad that ran with the words SOS written exactly the same way.

but execution is poor. font has to be expressive (like actually written by blood)

So many complain when an idea mirrors another, it’s hard to say it would have been better in blood.
I personally think it would be better in blood looking copy.

The message is solid “give, or there will be a shortage”. Good Job.
