Because you get to colorize them yourself, Jack.

I don't think so, though that wouldn't be bad. In my opinion, the reason the frame is white in all ads is because you yourself get to decide what color it should be (that's one interpretation). Ray Ban had a very nice limited edition collection of frames recenly, Rare Prints or something. They were all designed by artists.

It doesn't communicate to me that I can choose my own colour.

When you have a coloring book, is it colored already or do you color(ize) it yourself? It's black and white; think of the frames here as a "coloring book".

Bad comparison to be honest. It's an ad, it needs to communicate.

When you buy a chess board, do you start colouring it as well??

This product comes with five colored pens, so you can customize it. Thanks for the comments.

I agree with Jack; art and idea very nice they must add some colourful frames to the Ad so it delivers the message properly.

Agree. Doesn't fully communicate the message.

All this says is "color is good" and "here is a white pair of sunglasses". It's a complete disconnect without SOME indication that you can colorize your own glasses. Putting the word "colorize" is not enough.

And making sure this communication was clear would NOT have hurt the ad.
