OK, now explain.

what's truthful about it?
why is it very well directed?
why is it great?

you missed the point of course.

the point was if someone gives a 10 to this... this... whatever this is... he/she must have good reasons for that. not just "oh, I like it".
if he talks about the "truth" which one is it?
if he talks about well-direction - what is it about it (art-direction, great choice of models, grat sofa, the light, the composition, color-scheme...)?
if it's great - according to what? fashion category? advertising idea as a whole? only as a photo?

but you seem a prick. so don't mind answering.

Some people may think I am crazy to talk to invisible persons, but let´s go...

The truthful meaning of this ad, and that was not much explored before, is that you can show part of your personality by the way you dress. Clothes can tell lot about your inner.

And the funny insight they had is that what you wear outside is actually telling what you are inside so, in this case, the sheet that´s actually "hiding you" is your body, not the shirt. They translated this feeling by showing nude models "opening that hiding sheet".

And the art direction is really clever. Instead of just showing nude people, they showed the traditional "art nude", where models pose nude for artists who try to capture their feelings and personality.

that wasn't so hard, was it?
and now we have a decent review. finally.

yes, the idea is: "your style comes from within" to sum it up for you. I honestly think it's nothing new (in terms of idea) but AD is quite nice.

about "invisible persons". what difference would it make if I wrote my real name or my nickname?
it'd just be collectiong pencils. which I'm more than un-interested in.

Ok, so it's not my mike, but I kinda echo your feelings/questions.

I'll say this:

It's an interesting idea, at least for me, in that it is strangely weird and hard to ignore.
The truthfulness of it may come from the idea that the company's t-shirts truly "expose" who you are, using bear-skinned people to execute an obvious play.
Is it great? Don't know. Kinda gory in a way.
But I can't deny it got me to chime in.

Hmm.

+3 for the naked man.
+3 for making him a rather cute twink as well.
-1 for the pale skin; looks a little too corpselike.
-1 for the Emo slant.
+1 for the couch (really); its colors echo those of the skin and "blood" on display, despite its rather severe and uncomfortable appearance.

Any ad idea, however arresting and curious that it may even stop a train dead on its tracks doesn't necessarily translate to resulting brand appeal if in the end it leaves most people a bad taste in the mouth. This one definitely does.

I couldn't agree more. It may be a cool idea among us (I don't think it's great but I understand why some people like it) but it's a very unattractive visual.

Reminds me of the movie "Hannibal". There. I said it. At first I thought it would be just so inappropriate to mention such a thing.

Why to compliment the art direction of a bad idea? "Oh, wonderful Photoshop!! I don't go for the brand, I won't buy the product, but what a nice photoshop!". Awfull.
