I don't think it's too bad... To the audience, CBC seems like an old, boring TV station with little interesting content. This is trying to push the website and tell people that CBC has something new to offer. Not bad at all once you consider who the message is targeted to.

Are you really going to categorize North America in your unsubstantiated comment? Really? Why don't you go thumb through some award annuals from the last five years and come back with some stats to back up your claim. That's like saying we are all fat.
